LoofCo Washing-Up Pads are hand-made in Egypt from loofah plant and cotton string. A 100% biodegradable alternative to plastic washing-up sponges. The Washing-Up Loofah Pad fits neatly into the hand & when immersed in water swells up to become a soft, spongy and flexible pad. It’s soft enough for non-stick pans and supple enough to fit into mugs. Each durable pad will last for months and when worn out can be composted. Each pad measures approximately 13cm x 8cm loofah in packaging with a convenient cotton hanging string. Flattened for transport to save space.

LoofCo Washing-Up Brush with Handle are skilfully hand-made in Sri Lanka from coir coconut fibre wrapped around a galvanised metal core that will not rust. The addition of a rubberwood handle together with the curved brush head design makes it versatile enough for everyday washing-up and robust enough for scrubbing baked -on food. A recyclable alternative to plastic washing-up brushes.

To keep brush fresh between uses, rinse and squeeze out excess water and shake out any food particles. Hang to dry from string metal loop. The galvanised metal core will not rust. Occasionally soak in hot water with washing-up liquid and air dry to freshen brush.
