About Ernie’s Zero Waste Shop
Welcome to Ernie’s Zero Waste Shop, a small independent zero waste shop in the heart of Norwich. We opened in 2019 and recently celebrated our 6th birthday. We currently reside at 62 Castle Quarter, Norwich, NR1 3DD. We are Norwich’s only dedicated zero waste shop and have over 900 products in stock. We currently have 4 people working in our shop, myself (Graham), Louise, Vicki and Kiki who are always on hand to help you out on your zero waste journey.
What do we sell?
We sell a wide variety of food and liquid refills as well as a range of household and personal care items. Everything is plastic free and plant based. We have a range of food refills including pastas, rice, cereals, nuts, dried fruit, grains, baking products, herbs and spices, seeds, frozen fruit & veg and pick and mix. Liquid refills include laundry liquid, fabric conditioner, hand wash, washing up liquid, cleaning vinegars, household cleaning, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and cleaning powder refills (oxy bleach, soda crystals etc)
What are our aims?
To provide a wide range of unpackaged food eliminating all plastic waste for our customers.
To offer a cleaning products refill station where used bottles can be refilled.
To offer a wide range of plastic free alternatives to everyday products, soaps, shampoo, toothbrushes etc.
To ensure everything in our shop and on our website is plant based and cruelty free.
To ensure our prices are as affordable as possible and to constantly check our prices against supermarkets.
To always offer advice and help to anyone who needs it about how reduce plastic waste.
To promote an environmentally friendly, plastic free lifestyle. To offer a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes we offer click & collect, local deliveries via cargo bike and UK wide deliveries through Royal Mail (depending on size and weight we sometimes use other couriers) Deliveries start from £2.99.
